A wreck dive in Mindelo's bay about 80 meters long is the habitat of an immensity and diversity of marine life, from giant puffer fishes, colorful nudibranch and huge shoals of soldier fish, goatfish and yellow grunt fish.
Located in the north side of São Vicente is one of the best dives we can do. A drop-off that starts at 10 meters and extends to 30 meters with walls, caves and canyons covered with coral make this place a dynamic and unforgettable dive. Over the drop-off are sometimes seen giant mantas (Manta birostris).
A very wide cave with sand bottom is the highlight of this dive where you can see stingrays and sometimes sand tiger shark. The cave’s exit is a beautiful underwater scenario with a strong light contrast and shoals of yellow grunt fish.
The perfect location to see some turtles from the surface. This quiete and shalow place alows you to have an amaizing expirience with some turtles in São Vicente.
A small islet about ten minutes by boat from Mindelo Bay provides a great dive full of life. Waves and strong currents are often during the dive which increase the possibility of seeing some great pelagic fish like amberjack, barracuda and even some tuna species.
An incredible dive where a big rock covered by sun-coral is home for some shoals of surgeon fish, soldier fish and yellow grunt. Stingrays and lobsters are also present in this dive spot.
Very interesting dive for the great pinnacles at 26 meters covered with yellow sun-coral. The depth increases very quickly in very short space, making this a dive with bigger probability for seeing bigger fish or even some species of sharks. The presence of moderate or strong currents is often.
An easy dive where you can find some of the most curious creatures of São Vicente such as sand congers eel, frogfish and mantis shrimp.
